We currently employ 37 operatives on the tools all directly on the books. Of those 37, there are 7 ventilation ductworkers, 3 service engineers, 2 A/C engineers, 22 commercial plumbers/pipefitters/installers/assistants, 13 of which are also SSSTS or SMSTS trained supervisors, 2 fully certified pipefitter welders, and an apprentice. Jon served a HVCA apprenticeship starting in 1986 with large local contractor W F Knight & Sons.

His father, Jack Wintersgill, had already joined with ex-Knights men & Watertite founders Marcus Rowswell and Dave Gosney, and Jon joined them in 1993. He worked his way up to Foreman and then Contracts Manager, before taking over from Jack, as a company director, when Jack retired in 2002. He subsequently became joint managing director with Marcus in 2004.

Marcus retired in 2017 and Jon is now the sole Managing Director. Jon has been pivotal in the company's steady growth to this point, and is confident that with the great team that he has assembled/nutured at Watertite, that the future is very bright.
