PKF Engineering was established in 2002. Originally an MB specialist, we expanded to include all German marques in 2007. In 2010 PKF Engineering became a certified Class 4 MOT testing station. We provide servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, MOT testing and repairs. Our aim is to give the best possible service at an affordable price. PKF Engineering is a small family run business.
Paul, the founder of the business is the head technician, both working on vehicles and overseeing the workshop, he is also a nominated MOT tester. Paula, his wife, looks after reception, accounts and customer care. Jacko is a fully trained technician who has a wealth of experience and is also a Volvo specialist technician. Jacko is also a nominated MOT Tester.

Our vehicle diagnostic equipment is the same as used by the main dealers we also fit genuine manufacturer's parts, so your vehicle will be kept in tip-top condition without affecting your manufacturer's warranty - whether your vehicle is 6 months or 6 years old.

The main workshop is equipped with 3 ramps, we have specific tools and equipment to be able to work on the German vehicles we specialise in.
It is important that we not only provide a good service but ensure our working environment is kept clean & tidy.
We take all reasonable care to ensure your vehicle is well looked after whilst in our care.
The MOT centre has a dedicated ATL (Automatic Testing Lane) which is equipped with the latest technology for MOT Testing.
You are welcome to watch your MOT being carried out from our customer viewing area.

We currently charge an hourly rate of 70 + VAT (84.00 Including VAT).
We carry out repairs using the manufactures recommended time allowance.
Parts are charged at the main dealer prices or if requested non-genuine alternative parts can be sourced.
We do not recommend fitting second-hand parts to vehicles although we understand this is occasionally a necessity.
We will fit second-hand parts but are unable to provide any warranty for them.
If the second-hand part fails we will have to charge labour to fit a replacement.
