Apsley Engineering (now Apsley Precision Engineering Ltd) was established in 1984 by Graham Aymes BSc, CEng, MIMechE, following a successful career with the British government working as a lead design engineer at Enfield Small Arms Factory at the onset of the SA80 project.
Career progression then lead to the position of Deputy Head of Engineering at the Chemical Defence Establishment (DSTL) at Porton Down in Wiltshire.
With a background in design and production engineering, Graham swiftly secured a number of Defence contracts with customers who remain with us today.
