The business was started in 1998 initially in the fencing and gates market and over the years it has realigned into working predominately in the seating and structures market. As the company grew it became apparent that larger premises were needed to service the growing number of customers and at the start of 2007 the company moved into new premises at Victory Road and the adjoining site in Chemical Road.
The greater space at the new site has allowed the company to make major capital investments in plant and machinery, resulting in the purchase of a laser machine and break press which allowed MAB to control all manufacturing in house. KAM has always enjoyed a close relationship with MAB and in early 2010 the opportunity arose for KAM to take control of MAB.
This is a hugely positive step and will allow the synergy that the two companies enjoy to add to their mutual development and enhanced customer services. With our expertise full use can be made of our well equipped fabrication workshops, using CNC guillotining, punching, profiling, and forming machinery, utilising CAD drawing and modern programming methods.
