PCD Engineering Ltd provide a detailing and management service to the structural steelwork fabricator. Completion of projects on time is always critical and so we place particular emphasis on keeping your delivery promises. We are happy to become involved in any structural or mechanical handling project at any stage, with no contract either too small or too large.
We have an enthusiastic team of qualified and experienced personnel who can handle the most complex of contracts. In 1987 they were joined by David Fletcher, who had already spent almost 20 years in the industry, and was subsequently invited to join the Partnership in 2000. The new facilities provide us with a modern technical environment that demonstrates our commitment to the latest developments in CAD technology.
In 2004 the partnership was incorporated into a private limited company. Retirement for Colin came in 2005 with Peter also retiring at the end of 2010. The current directors and staff remain totally focused on the future, having built up our professional experience in the Structural / Architectural steelwork and Mechanical Handling disciplines over many years.

Tekla Corporation, the very latest in structural 3D modeling technology.
Tekla Structures allows us to produce full CNC data for all the elements in the structure, including cold rolled CNC files that can be emailed to the individual manufacturer.
Tekla Structures also allows us to produce various reports, including Godata and Fabtrol.
Whilst our six 3D CAD stations are particularly suited to detailing new build projects, a significant proportion of our work involves refurbishment or extensions to existing structures.
