Established for over 24 years, Derby Racing Services Ltd is able to supply a variety of products and services in the general engineering sector. Based in derby we are able to provide services and support to clients located throughout the Midlands. Over 500 motorcycle frames were produced and sold all across the world, reaching places as far as South Africa, Sweden, Japan, America and even Australia.
Many examples are still in use today in club racing and early stocks. This can be seen as a testement to the quality and durability of our workmanship, as these components are up to 20 years old. Perhaps some may be seen in years to come in Classic racing! As the road racing scene evolved into a more production based classes, DRS had to rely on sub-contract engineering for income.
Over the following years our cusomer base grew, encompasing a diverse range of industries. In 1994 Aston Engineering, a long standing client of DRS with growing requirements for our services, bought the company. Re-locating to our current premises, DRS are able to provide a higher level of service for their racing & renovation projects, whilst still providing a high standard of service to our existing clients.
