Enbe
ENBE Ltd is a technical consultancy dedicated to the engineering, science and management of the shoreline and how it relates to the built environment. Whilst predominantly our work is in the coastal zone, we also provide expert consultancy services in relation to rivers, estuaries and the oceans. Advise on the complex interaction between the marine environment and human activities in terms of shoreline management, coastal defence, ports and harbours, and energy projects.

The following pages tell you more about our company, the kinds of work we do, the services we provide, and our clients.
Services
ENBE was formed in 2004 in response to a need for expert advisory services in shoreline engineering, science and management.
Noel worked with a large international consultancy and three major maritime contractors prior to forming ENBE, therefore gaining wide ranging experience in his chosen field of expertise, coastal engineering.
A recognised specialist in both the science and engineering of coastal projects, Noel is often engaged to provide expert opinion on cases featuring these disciplines - this has included projects from the Far East to South America as well as some of the largest UK coast protection schemes in recent years.
Though never complacent, we are confident that our clients are satisfied with our services as much of our work comes from repeat commissions.
Our client list nevertheless continues to grow.
We are happy to work with businesses large or small, or for an individual person as the case may be, in the UK and overseas.
Our clients are from both the public and private sectors and include government departments, private businesses and landowners, developers, international engineering consultants and contractors, community partnerships and other professional sectors, including legal and the insurance industry.
ENBE's work applies in cases where man's interests affect, or are affected by, the marine environment.
Our work broadly falls into three areas: Coastal Management, Marine Structures and the Environment.
Coastal management means working with shoreline processes to benefit the natural and built environment and those who live, work and visit it.
This may be undertaken through engineering means or by adapting to natural change.
Coastal management is commonly required to protect land, infrastructure, property and important habitats from coastal erosion and flooding.
