Established in 2005, Mercol Engineering is based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. We are dedicated to engineering excellence and utilise latest programmable and manual machinery to work towards highest standards. High precision engineering requires state of art machinery. Our milling centre is equipped with 3 Axis CNC, 2 Axis CNC and various vertical and universal machines complete with DRO.
Our modern, fully equipped turning center is fitted with various large capacity CNC machines with some up to 2 meters between centres, with 80 mm spindle bore and swing over bed from 480 to 510 mm. We have various sawing machines which include dual mitre structural semi automatic bandsaw featuring easy mitre to 60°, 2 off bandsaw with vertical deep throat and a horizontal deep throat to cut to 450 mm.
A comprehensive drilling & tapping facility with fixed, portable magnetic drilling machines, 2 off vertical drilling machines & air operated tapping arms are available for drilling, broaching & tapping tasks.
