High Frequency Diagnostics & Engineering (HFDE) Ltd is specialist consultancy business that was founded to work in partnership with companies developing new electromagnetic wave sensor technologies and applications. HFDE has special expertise in the detection and diagnosis of partial discharge (PD) activity in high voltage (HV) equipment. Since 2018, we have carried out regular PD surveys of substation equipment and are increasingly involved with setting up long-term specialist PD monitoring installations.
HFDE strives to build open and effective working relationships with its partners and clients. Confidentiality is assured through the founder's previous experience of working with commercially sensitive information and managing intellectual property (IP).
