We welcome enquiries for help with bespoke, research and development, prototype, special purpose projects, as well as breakdown replacement parts, recondition, refurbishment and modification. At Cole Precision Engineering we prefer to work from clients own design drawings or sketches, but try to be as flexible as possible and do produce from samples, whenever possible offering short lead times.

Each and every job by Cole Engineering is documented as part of our in-house quality management system. Inspection of all work is undertaken at every stage of manufacture and upon completion. The company has over 40 years' experience in sub contract, precision and general engineering industries. Established circa 1978, trading as Diameter Tools, specialising in the supply of turned components, such as cores and cavities, punch and dies etc to the then thriving Toolmaking sector.

Diversifying at a later date to include production and fabrication, subcontracting to many manufacturing companies in the area.

Our range of workshop activities are not restricted to Turned/Milled components, but include assembly and light fabrication projects, brazing, and welding.
The Machine Shop also houses a comprehensive range of ancillary equipment, including inspection and measuring instruments.
Our turning/workholding capacity ranges from 1mm to 500mm diameter, utilising collet systems, chucking and face plates.
Whether from Barstock or Billets we work with a wide variety of materials.
The most common of which being Stainless Steels of various grades, including 303, 304, 316 etc. Closely followed by Aluminium Alloys and mild, free cutting, carbon steels, hardening steels, silver steel, tool steel, case hardening steel etc.
