Etive is a UK-based civil and structural engineering design consultancy. A co-founder with Hamish Martineau, Grant's wider development experience and skills are most valuable for clients at the start of projects where he combines technical know-how with his own commercial acumen to identify, assess and solve issues.
Managing the business, Grant remains fully engaged in his projects. As a founder and the technical lead within Etive, Hamish manages the company's design and production information, ensuring his own notoriously rigorous standards are met. Hamish has a calm, thorough and reassuring approach, very popular with clients, contractors and professional colleagues.
We undertake design in all structural materials and engineer buildings from the domestic scale through to multi-storey commercial developments. All aspects of building structures are catered for from foundation through suspended floors to roof.

We are a limited liability company and are wholly owned by working directors of the business.
Working throughout the United Kingdom, Etive's primary focus is the design of buildings and infrastructure.
