Debris obstructing the burner and heat exchanger can greatly reduce the efficiency of the boiler.
Removing this debris can help to achieve a clean burning flame and optimum efficiency of the appliance.
Below is a list of typical work involved whilst carrying out a service (some of these checks are not applicable to all boilers).

I carry a variety of spare parts to repair the most common plumbing and heating issues - including ball valves, toilet siphons and fill valves, motorised valves and heating pumps - allowing many boiler & plumbing repairs to be completed in just one visit.
I also carry some common boiler spares and am able to obtain many others on either the same or next day.

Many houses are now installed with unvented hot water cylinders which provide mains pressured hot water at all tap outlets.
These cylinders can also be installed as a replacement for traditional copper cylinders.
These cylinders incorporate several vital safety devices that need to be installed and maintained correctly.
A separate certification is required by engineers to install unvented cylinders, which I keep updated every 5 years.
