GKL has evolved over the last 15 years but today our business focuses on three distinct, core areas; building, civil engineering and development. As we all know the UK is in the depths of a huge housing crisis with a government target of 1 million new homes by 2020 and everything that we do at GKL is geared to helping this in a small way.
From enabling works on a brownfield site to a new highway junction for a residential development, everything is geared towards one key, common and consistent goal - new housing and new development. GKL Group are not the biggest company and nor do we want to be, but we strive to be the best at everything we do. Some may call this a lack of ambition but we certainly don't see it that way.

GKL's very first contract back in 1999 was for the design and build of a warehouse in Suffolk for a storage and distribution centre for a national haulier.
Since these early beginnings, we have combined our expertise for building and civil engineering in many of our projects.
We have undertaken a wide and varied array of building projects for very different clients ranging from the construction of a golf driving range, from commercial units and trade counters to bespoke 20,000 sq.
Recently we have been engaged as the principal contractor on a number of office to residential developments and to the end of 2018 we had completed in excess of 170 residential apartments in and around Peterborough city centre as well as 2 luxury houses to the North of the city.
Since these early beginnings, we have combined our expertise for building and civil engineering in many of our projects.
