Services
Mathwall Engineering was formed in 1967 by Stuart Mathieson and Peter Wallace, both of whom left Alan Mann Racing having worked on the successful Ford racing programmes.
The company began in a small lock-up in West Byfleet, Surrey and its first job was to prepare a customer Falcon for saloon car racing.
The company was immediately successful in this class of racing and subsequently picked up major saloon car racing programmes for BMW and Mazda.
These Mathwall-prepared cars dominated the competition and the company enjoyed regular race and championship successes.

The Mathwall team has over 50 years' experience in complex system design.
Their core expertise has been borne from the need to design and develop the internal combustion engine to extreme specifications.
These skills are now being re-applied more broadly in the field of low carbon technology development across automotive, marine, defence, oil and gas sectors.
A particular strength is Mathwall's capability to appropriate designs for niche manufacturing and volume manufacturing.
Projects have to industrialise a prototype design have been successfully delivered.

Virtual product development will shorten the development time of engine and hybrid systems but requires good quality input data for the digital engineering simulation models.
Mathwall can take ownership of the complete test rig activity delivering performance data to our customers or alternatively supplying a commissioned test rig to our customer's site for their operation.
Existing rigs can be updated for new tests or bespoke rigs can be supplied.
