McNamara Contractors were established in 1972 by Tom and Carmel McNamara.
The company was formed in Luton Bedfordshire but later moved to Southampton in 1976.
We relocated to our current premises in Romsey in 1994, where we have a spacious property comprising offices, workshop and large storage facilities.
We are a family focused team; our Managing Director Brendan McNamara joined the company in 1989 although Tom continued to be MD until 2015.
Noelle joined the firm in 2005 and took over the role of Company Secretary in 2015.

The change from working for a large corporate company into a family run business was both rewarding and refreshing.
Working closely with Tom, Carmel, Brendan and Noelle, my job as the buyer developed to included plant management, transport and site operational issues.
