Marbas was established in 2015 in Winchester as a firm of consulting structural and civil engineers. A widely experienced and proactive chartered engineering firm with a creative approach to problem solving. Working closely with the design team, our aim is to deliver solutions that respond to clients' requirements whilst delivering excellent value.
Marbas is committed to developing the sustainability agenda both within our practice and with our clients. With over 30 years experience, the company was founded by Barnaby Swann and Sam Farzam, both chartered engineers with the Institution of Structural Engineers.
They have gained significant experience across a broad range of sectors within the industry from working on new build and refurbishments works on residential, historic, educational, retail, industrial and transport to include airports.

In addition to this, we provide civil and geotechnical engineering including below ground drainage design.
All our work is undertaken using the latest design software to allow us to tackle the most challenging project and deliver efficient solutions.
We are therefore able to adopt BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes using AutoDesk Revit where required.
A complete range of structural engineering consultancy services to assist with projects from inception to completion.
