We machine a full range of materials which are both ferrous and non-ferrous (including heat resistant super alloys and plastics) which are then supplied to a variety of industrial sectors. We are proficient in the use of CAD/CAM and advanced CNC programming which allow us to utilise more advanced cutting techniques for both milling and turning. Alongside our CNC department we have a full range of conventional machines which are operated by our expert engineers.
We are a family run business and believe in ensuring our customers needs come first. We like to work alongside our customers working with them to ensure they get best price for the quality they receive. Our reputation for high standards of work and service has allowed us to subcontract our CNC skills to many major industrial companies. We are fully equipped with small tools and carry sufficient tools and fittings to enable all our machines to be set up at any one time.
We also keep a good stock of milling cutters, drill, taps, cutters and hand tools and we are also fully equipped with inspection equipment.

Services
Established in 1971, Holmbridge Engineering opened its doors to the engineering world.
Since then, we have been providing a range of products and services to our customers, to meet the needs of an ever-growing manufacturing world.
The company was started by Roy Smith, Len Morris and Nick Couch back with a series of conventional machine tools, both lathes and millers.
Work mainly was comprised of machine tool spares and valves.
Over the years Holmbridge gained the trust and respect of numerous customers, working closely alongside them to provide intelligent solutions for a multitude of manufacturing requirements.

At Holmbridge, we pride ourselves on the quality of our craftmanship and knowledge we have accumulated over the years.
Our expertise lie in the machining of specialised components from a diverse range of materials for a variety of industrial sectors by using a combination of both old and new technology on the shop floor.
We believe it's important to have machine tool diversity on the shop floor which allows us to be more flexible when it comes to manufacturing a diverse range of components, this allows us to provide a range of services in house from our highly skilled team.

Our turning capabilities range from 5mm up to 500mm in diameter and up to 2m in length.
We integrate CAD/CAM for more intelligent toolpaths as well as duckboard programming and conventional turning.
We have bar feed capabilities of up to 65mm and in addition, lathes with live tooling, which we run through CAD/CAM.
This allows us to provide high-speed milling on the lathe to reduce operations, and again reduce your costs.
No job is too big or too small, contact our team for a free, no obligation quote.

Our milling capabilities range from simplistic prismatic components to complex 3D scanning of parts.
We have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to CAD/CAM which we use to design fixtures and integrate more modern cutting techniques on more complex parts.
Any 3D models which can be sent along with a drawing will aid in the production of a more competitive quote and will also reduce the costs of manufacture.
Our conventional milling section strengthens our team and provides us with more freedom when routing components.

We utilise several different CAD CAM packages on site and our experts are profficient in both the design and manufacturing used within each software.
Not only can we bring ideas to life and design components from the ground up, we also use the CAM to aid us in more sophisticated tool paths which user more modern cutting technologies.
