Established in 1985 in Halifax, West Yorkshire, we have built a strong reputation for offering both a wide range and keenly priced set of manufacturing services.
Having continually invested in acquiring quality welding and machining plant we have built an impressive range of equipment along with a workforce of highly experienced and skilled staff to operate them. We are proud of the manufacturing heritage of Halifax and Great Britain as a whole and are committed to participating in apprenticeship training programs to encourage the next generation of skilled machinists and engineers.

Here at Calderdale Engineering Services we offer MIG/MAG, FCAW and TIG welding of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium in fabrications up to 15 tons.
We have weld procedures (also known as codes) for S355J2 and NL carbon steels in MIG/MAG and Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) which are accredited by Lloyd's Register.
The ability for us to offer both welding and fabrication services along our machining capabilities sets us apart from most other manufacturing companies which usually focus on one or the other.

Having purchased the rights to the August's Mixer Machine Company and Engineering Group in 2005 we have become the sole supplier for genuine August's Mixer spare parts including mixer ploughs and blades, muller wheels, wear plates, crib liners, shafts, bearings and seals.
Here at Calderdale Engineering Services we have inherited the full archive of original drawings, customer files and build lists and therefore are usually able to identify and trace the correct part for any August's mixer machine.
