Experienced engineer Nick Clipson started CM Engineering Ltd in 2005 following a successful career working with automotive giants Jaguar, Hyundai, Peugeot and Volvo. The Standard Formula Student differential can be supplied in 3 versions with a bearing spacing of 120mm, 140mm or 160mm.
The static preload is fixed, although this can be altered by disassembly of the differential and re-shimming the preload spring.
Can be supplied in 2 versions with a bearing spacing of 140mm or 160mm.
The static preload is easily adjustable by using the supplied wrench, whilst the diff is installed in the car.
