Established in 1983 in Weston-Super-Mare, C&T Engineering Ltd was initially a sub-contractor for the window manufacturing industry. Creating a friendly, personal service based on quality and trust the company rapidly diversified to serve a broad industrial spectrum.

More than 30 years on and C&T Engineering Ltd has not only flourished into a modern company but now with a fresh approach and substantial investment, embraces new technology and processes which is enabling us to thrive in an extremely competitive market, whilst still priding ourselves on all the traditional values. This coupled with the employment of apprentices for the first time in the company's history ensures our on-going commitment to the future.

One of our specialities is the mass production of small, predominantly aluminium components utilised across many industries. Within our production area we have dedicated drilling, countersinking and tapping stations which aid the manufacture of aluminium components. These areas utilise our in-house tool room by using internally designed and manufactured fixtures.
Services
One of the areas C&T Engineering Ltd specialise in is the mass production of small, predominantly aluminium components utilised across various industries.
Over the years we have designed and developed many ways to enhance the production of this type of item.
2no FOM automatic cut-off saws for the precise, volume cutting of extruded aluminium components.
Sizes as small as 5mm and up to 500mm in length can be cut whilst maintaining a cutting tolerance of +/-0.1mm.
1no FOM up cutting saw for the precise cutting of all larger components either square ended or mitred.
Skilled toolmakers assisted by a new generation of apprentices and a fully equipped toolroom allow us to undertake many types of work, ranging from 1off prototype turned or milled parts to small batched of precision components.
We can also produce jigs and fixtures enhancing our customers' own manufacturing processes.
C&T Engineering Ltd can also offer the production of press tools and injection mould tooling, commissioned both by our customers for their own use, or for in-house production of their components.
Our press shop is equipped with power presses ranging from, 6 - 25 ton with press tools and tooling manufactured within our own tool room, enabling us to produce finished components such as corner cleats (chevrons), brackets, plates, fixing lugs and straps in addition to the punching and preparation of customer's own extrusions and components.
The presses can be fed with strip material guillotined on site, automatically fed material utilising coil and power feed units or single pre-cut items positioned manually.
Utilising Arburg moulding machines ranging from 25 - 100 ton clamping capacities, C&T Engineering Ltd can offer customers the options of short runs of components to suit their immediate requirement or long term planned production runs.
We keep in stock a good selection of general plastics and standard colours that enable us to respond quickly to our customers needs.
Finished components are checked, desprued and bulk bagged, although special requests for assembly and packaging can be accommodated.
Welding is a natural compliment to our other services.
We are able to offer our customers a range of in-house welding facilities.
These include: TIG welding of aluminium and stainless steel MIG and TIG welding of mild steel assemblies and components.
We are happy to weld either single items or batches.
