Aztec Engineering is a family-run company established in 1989, based in Charing near Ashford in Kent. We offer our clients a comprehensive service for their metalwork projects, including site survey, designs, drawings, manufacture and installation. Many of our clients are joinery companies carrying out prestigious refurbishment and refit projects requiring top-quality metalwork.

Services
For many years we have been involved in the manufacture of steel casement window frames for period properties.
With our forge we can replicate catch and stay details from original items to ensure that replacements are authentic.
We make casement windows to suit new or original oak frames and, if required, can hang the casements in the frames to ensure a perfect fit.
The frames are hand-forged and can be made to match original windows.
In addition, we work with lead came and glass to glaze these casements in much the same way as they have been for centuries (except we now use an electric soldering iron to solder the lead came!).
