In 2007 owner and Managing Director, John Gray set up Vision Survey with the ambition to become the foremost authority on permit to dig control in the UK.
Beginnings were simple, a second-hand Royal Mail van provided transport to different sites around Heathrow and London where John would issue permits.
Perseverance and dedication allowed him to forge strong relationships with many clients, and the company began to grow.
Fast forward to today, we have diversified from permits and now offer a range of survey solutions that cover almost any construction need.

Over twelve years he has championed Vision's growth that enables the company to offer a complete package of engineering, utility and permit solutions.
He has twenty-five years of experience in Permit to Dig management for a multitude of large-scale construction projects in the UK including Heathrow T5, Olympic Park, Crossrail and more recently, Thames Tideway, Hinkley Point and HS2.
Mark joined Vision Survey in 2020 from Working 8 years as a Senior Project Manager for Gatwick Airport's complex baggage projects worth over 50M.
Over twelve years he has championed Vision's growth that enables the company to offer a complete package of engineering, utility and permit solutions.

Silvertown Quays is a redevlopment scheme of 50 acres of former London docklands warehousing in the East London district of Silvertown.
It is situated on the northside of the River Thames, the southside of the Royal Victoria Dock on the opposite quay to ExCeL exhibition centre, and immediately west of London City Airport.
The tunnel project is being delivered by RiverLinx consortium ( comprising Aberdeen Standard Investments, BAM PPP PGGM, Cintra, Macquarie Capital and SK E&C) for the Transport for London.
