Wellington Engineering is a customer focused, quality led Sub-Contract Engineering company specialising in Multi-Axis and CNC machining serving a variety of Industries from Aerospace, Oil and gas, Medical & Research, Vacuum, Semi-Conductor and Cryogenics to name a few. Our roots can be traced back to the mid 1980's where the company was formed by our now Chairman Mr G Wellington.
His engineering knowledge has since been passed on through his son and current Managing Director Mr Daimon Wellington, to our present workforce of 40 competently skilled engineers. Over time, as our business evolved we moved into our purpose built modern 20,000sq ft factory in 2013 to support this growth. Laminar flow booth to be used in conjunction with the working bench, the unit provides laminar flow across the operator to remove airborne respirable dust The booth uses three stage disposable filtration to remove the dust, finally being diffused back into the working environment via HEPA filtration saving on heat loss.
Other subcontract services also include precision grinding, honing & boring deep hole drilling, EDM, Wire Erosion and Broaching.
It also provides an effective method of preparing a surface with a roughened profile which promotes the adhesion of the specialist coatings.

We provide our customers with increased levels of productivity, visibility and inventory management.
To support this our factory floor we have in place two impressive ultra-modern Kardex shuttle storage Robots - one for finished parts storage which houses all our stock holding for our Kanban, JIT and Scheduled Order customers, other machine shuttle is used to control our tool inventory.
Both Kardex shuttle Power Pick Global software is linked with the Tricorn Engineering Management system for quick and effective shipping of both component and tooling.

Sizes range from 0.028" O/D up to 5" O/D with varying wall thickness in all grades.
Our stock range is forever changing, therefore if your required size or grade is not listed on our download stock list, we will try and source your specific tube sizes though our approved worldwide supply chain.

Our turning section, which includes several Mazak Quick Turns and Mori Seiki lathes all with 3'' dia bar feed capabilities, live tooling and sub spindles options.
