The requirement to produce mandrels for 'Packers' has been achieved by the installation of a number of long bed CNC lathes, these lathes are capable of machining between centres up to 34ft (10.5 metres) in length and in excess of 39ft (12 metres) and 10' 1/4 (260mm) diameter through the spindle.
Pipes can be coated in rubber compounds such as Nitrile, HNBR and EPDM with hardness values of 70 or 90 IRHD (International Rubber Hardness Degree).
