Longsight Design Consultancy was formed in 2008 by the owner and Chartered Civil Engineer Tony Rubino. Based Between Barnsley and Wakefield and close to the M1 motorway we are well situated over most of South and West Yorkshire as well as most of the Midlands and North. Longsight Design Consultancy use computer technology for drafting and design together sound engineering knowledge and understanding.
With close to 30 years of experience in civil and structural engineering and covering many sectors we can offer individual or total design solutions. As well as offering solutions across many sectors Longsight Design Consultancy has experience of designing in all the major construction materials such as Steel, Concrete, Timber and Masonry. Structural analysis is carried out using structural analysis packages and design is carried out using hand calculations.
We also have an extensive knowledge of British Standard and Eurocodes for design using the major construction materials.
