West Engineering Ltd was established in 2000. In that time we have become highly regarded for our attention to detail and the finish we achieve on our metal work: Super Yacht finish titanium, super mirror polished Stainless Steel and hard anodised Aluminium. We were originally based on the Isle of Wight but are now located to Lymington, Hampshire which enables our customers to drop by to discuss their metal work requirements or ideas they may have.

During this time together with our clients we have continued to develop the cots and now offer a range of options including the light yet reliable Carbon & Aluminum 'race model'.
We supply our cots complete with light weight netting, built in integral purchase systems and reliable, flexible hinge systems.
The cots are ready to go, they simply require fitting to the yacht.

We also supply titanium non turning fittings which have proven to be far superior than the their stainless steel or aluminium counter parts, far more durable and far easier to maintain.
Another advantage of Titanium is that it exhibits the same mechanical strengths as 316 stainless steel or 17 - 4 depending on which grade of titanium is used.
