Over our thirty year history we have successfully installed systems throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe, America and the Middle East. On the electrical engineering; we offer everything from HV design and installation works through to instrumentation.
On the industrial automation; we design, install, commission and maintain industrial process control systems using the latest PC technology, Windows based, SCADA, MMI's, Programmable Logic Controllers and DCS systems. Our systems easily combine with our own or client management information and execution systems to facilitate the exchange of information between the factory floor and management.

Typical HMI/SCADA's we use are described below: IPCE iControl, HMI Terminals, Allen Bradley PanelView, Mitsubishi E-Terminals, Telemecanique Magelis.
For larger systems, we would network the PLC's / SCADA's using a variety of comms.
We would also set up a network of PCs which would display the appropriate sections of the plant graphically.
These PCs would include graphics to display the process, alarms, forces and control pages.
There would also be access to engineering parameters.

IPCE have provided Thompsons many control systems and carried out several electrical installations over the last 20 years.
The electrical installations have included the construction and supply of starter and PLC panels, as well as the site instrumentation and power wiring.
The control systems have covered all aspects of mill production, from weighed blending, volumetric coarse feed production, press control systems and lorry loading.

In the mid 1990s Wellman International Limited undertook to replace the Control System on its Weighing and Batching Plant.
IPCE were chosen as System integrators for this project.
The System supplied was based on a Mitsubishi PLC interfaced to Intellution SCADA as well as a link to our Management accounts software.
In the following years IPCE have been supplying tailor made solutions to Wellman International Limited throughout our Plant.
