SPS Pumps & Engineering Ltd was established in 1983 by the present Managing Director and partner Michael Edgar, after learning his trade working in the the pumping industry for Flygt Pumps.
Michael maintains the high standards of health & safety SPS Pumps are renowned for.
Paul started at SPS Pumps in 1987 in the workshop / onsite, under the guidance of some of the best in the industry.
As the company grew, Paul moved upstairs, overseeing day-to-day running of the business.
In 2008, he joined the board of directors.

The assembly was removed from site to our workshop.
The repair consisted of, crankshaft bearing face refurbishment, manufacture of all new brass bearings and pins.
Gearbox and drive mechanism repair.
Full installation and recommissioning.
The gearhead drives were removed and returned to our workshop for full refurbishment.
Meanwhile the 4'.00 slewing gear ring was removed and the broken teeth were specialise welded and then recut.
The equipment was fully installed and successfully recommissioned.
