Bennett Engineering is a personally managed engineering workshop that has provided a service to local and national customers from its Kendal base since 1959. The reputation of Bennett Engineering has been built up over the years by providing a consistent and reliable service based on the highest quality engineering skills backed up by a management policy that insists that every operation is 'Right First Time'.
Quality assurance registration (ISO9001) was achieved in 1991 and is maintained by regular quality management audits by external scrutineers. The management team of John Parker & Mike Stephens are personally committed to maintaining the reputation of Bennett Engineering for a quality product that is delivered on time and precisely to specification.
The workforce has been built up by a careful programme of recruitment and training with a regular flow of craft apprenticeships to ensure continuity. At the same time a realistic programme of capital investment has renewed most of the major items of production equipment to provide opportunities to introduce modern CNC-controlled equipment to supplement traditional craft skills.

Bennett Engineering specialises in high quality precision machining; sheet metalwork and fabrication backed up by shot blasting, powder coating and paint finishing on site; we can also offer most other coatings / finishes through our trusted approved suppliers to provide a total service to customers large and small.
