Presto Engineering is a family business owned and run by Julian Lay and his two sons James and Patrick.
The focus of Presto is the CNC Machining of precision aluminium parts.
Julian founded Presto Engineering in 1991 and setup in Stanton Harcourt, Oxfordsire.
Prior to starting the business Julian completed an Engineering Apprenticeship and subsequently worked at Williams Grand Prix Engineering where he gained much of the knowledge and skills that are still used day to day in the business now.
James joined the business in 2014 as a CNC machinist and is responsible for managing production programming, tooling and prototyping.

We are set up to accommodate batch sizes from 10 to 1,000.
Constant investment in new vertical machining centres together with refinement of our processes means that we achieve high throughput, quality and accuracy for our customers.
All our machining centres have 4th Axis capability which enables us to minimise the number of operations and improve accuracy of the component.
