Services
Richard Taylor began the business in 1976 and it remains a family-run business working throughout Lincolnshire today.
Richard trained and worked for Shellmex/BP for many years working all over Lincolnshire.
When he started his own Oil equipment Service business in 1976 he went into partnership with his wife Patricia who helped with the administration.
As the business grew, two more engineers joined, working with Richard.
Sadly, Richard passed away in 2009 but the family rallied round and the company employs 6 fully-qualified engineers with the day to day running covered by Carla and Simon in the office with Patricia taking a more back seat position.
We offer our customers a great deal on all oil boiler installations, providing the highest levels of professionalism and the benefit of our many years of experience working with oil fuelled appliances.
Oil boilers are an attractive option for those properties that are not connected to the natural gas network.
Most oil boiler appliances are fed by a supply of stored oil which is kept in a tank (externally to the property).
The benefit of this is that the homeowner is free to shop around for a good deal on fuel and is not tied to one supplier.
Complete Oil Tank replacement service available in-house.
We are able to survey and quote for both plastic and metal bunded tanks sited according to OFTEC regulations for optimal safety.
We can include various features such as remote monitoring of oil level and added security locking facilities.
Bunded fuel storage tanks are used to store hazardous substances - domestic heating oil.
They contrast from other oil storage tanks, for example, 'single skin tanks' since they have an extra tank or 'outside skin' (otherwise called bunding).
Heat source pumps are a form of renewable energy technology which take the warmth from the air or ground and use it to heat the home.
Air source heating systems heat water which is then circulated around the home via radiators or an underfloor heating system.
They can also be used to heat water in a storage tank for the bathroom or kitchen.
Using various pieces of technology - namely an evaporator coil full of refrigerant fluid, a type of pump called a compressor and a heat exchanger - heat pumps absorb the warmth in the air outside and release this heat into air or water, which is then distributed around the home.
Regardless of whether you are looking for an installer or a servicing technician, selecting an OFTEC registered technician provides peace of mind that you are choosing a skilled and qualified technician, rather than an untrained and potentially incompetent workmen.
Using an installer who is registered with OFTEC can also save time and reduce costs because they self-certify their work, avoiding the need for a building inspection and associated fees.
Because their work is covered by a warranty it also means you will avoid any complications in the unlikely event that their work does not comply with the building regulations.
