This has enhanced our ability to offer our customers the highest standards in machined components.
Ranging from 1 off's and prototype work through to medium to large size batch orders our Milling & Turning services are in the main carried out using our new range of CNC machines.
These CNC machines are either programmed directly at the machines or using CAD/CAM software where we can program off-line if this level of service is requested.
Our 5-axis machines can be utilised in various ways to enable us to supply complex components that need simultaneous 5 axis machining.
At Matrix Precision Engineering we have invested in the latest 5-axis machining technology.
Having acquired Hurco VMX42SRTi 5-axis / Swivel Head machining centres, this has resulted in Matrix Precision expanding our in-house machining capabilities.
The advanced control system of the machine allows for direct cad/cam programming along with the ability for DXF file input.
Matrix Precision Engineering has invested in several new Mill / Turn machines with the added benefit of having Live Tooling.
With these additions within our workshop we are now able to complete certain sized parts without the need for secondary set-ups on machining centres.
All or most milling aspects of the part can be carried out on the same machine after being turned.
This increases productivity with less set-up times and gives a wider diversity of parts being machined in a single set-up.
Benefits of this machining strategy means a possible reduction in both delivery lead times and machining costs quoted to the customer.
Matrix precision can offer you the complete service from design to machined, assembled, packaged and labelled ready to sell.
Employing the highest levels of engineering expertise and sophisticated engineering analysis, our design and optimisation techniques are based on sound engineering principles and a deep understanding of practical engineering.
