With this in mind we are devoted to servicing, repairing and maintaining all makes and models of decontamination equipment available on the market. This business model allows us to offer the best possible deal and negates the need for our clients to hold multiple contracts with numerous service engineers. Our highly trained experts have almost two decade's worth of experience in the decontamination and biomedical equipment industry.

From bench top autoclaves to walk in sterilisers, under bench washers to rack washers, even compressors and boilers we are able to provide you with a custom solution to meet your requirements. This strategy sets us apart from many of our direct competitors who tend to only service their own equipment. At Autoclave Engineering we are focused on in keeping up to date with current legislation across a number of business sectors and are able to provide up to date services and guidance that all of our clients require.

We meet or exceed all statutory and regulatory requirements and have procedures and processes in place to ensure that we continue to maintain these high standards and remain a leading, credible and proven independent service provider within the Decontamination Sector.
Services
Autoclave engineering is a service agent you can trust, we offer full service packages that are tailor made to suit your needs, we base our service packages on the OEM manufacturers guidelines laid out in your equipment manuals.
We ensure that all parts are OEM supplied and that all are fitted to the highest standards to enable you to have piece of mind that your equipment is being well looked after.
Your unit will be maintained at 3 monthly intervals, all parts such as valves, seals, fittings, electrical components, filters, pistons, pumps, steam traps and elements will be checked, cleaned and replaced where necessary, items such as filters will be replaced on an annual basis or at the clients request.
At Autoclave Engineering we are aware it might not always be ideal to have an engineer on site due to not having the room, the practice being to busy or even just not being able to allow us access.
Whether your piece of equipment is due a Service, Pressure Vessel Inspection, Repair or Testing to HTM we have two designated drop off points where you can bring your equipment to us.
We will carry out all the work in our workshops and let you know when the equipment is ready for collection.
All work carried out through our "Drop and Collect Service" is 10% cheaper than if we were to attend your site.
Calibration is the definition given to ensuring your unit is measuring within its given operation limits.
At autoclave engineering we strive to give the client the confidence in there equipment and with this we check the units calibration and operation on an annual basis.
If a testing contract is put in place the calibration checking is carried out at the exact same frequency as testing.
At Autoclave Engineering we use Fluke NetDaq Data Logger, Temperature we use Ametek Jofra ATC 156A and CTC 135A, for Pressure we use a Druck DPI610 Absolute Pressure.
At Autoclave Engineering we have several testing options to suit your steriliser / autoclave requirements.
Whether you require Quarterly, Six Monthly or Annual Testing your unit will be tested on a pre-arranged date and all tests will be carried out in accordance with HTM2010 / HTM01/05 EN285 regulations.
We are also able to compile SOP's for any client should they wish not to use the HTM's or EN regulations.
At the beginning of the contract we will provide you with approximate dates that the engineer will visit your site.
Pressure Vessel Inspections (PVI's) must be carried out in accordance with Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR 2000) which is a legal requirement.
All pressure vessel must be provided with a Written Scheme of Examination (WSE).
This document must cover all of the vessels safety devices, pipework and the vessel itself that may rise to danger.
The contents of a (WSE) must be reviewed at regular intervals (every 14 months) which allows the competant person to carry out the appropriate tests and compare both documents to make sure the equipment is fit for its intended use.
