We provide all services associated with the provision of potable and non-potable water supplies.
For over 30 years J P Whitter Waterwell Engineers have been water well drilling, maintaining, refurbishing and decommissioning boreholes, wells and adits.
We are based in the North West of England and carry out work throughout the UK and Europe.

At our facility in Leigh we can undertake the fabrication of both mild steel and stainless steel flanged rising mains up to 12 diameter.
Head plates can be fabricated in steel from 6" diameter up to 48" diameter and can be supplied complete with all necessary openings for the rising main, dip tubes, cable glands etc.
We can prepare head works from the head plate on the borehole by adapting the existing pipe work or by replacing it with new.
Where necessary head works can include all gate valves, none return valves, water meters and sample taps.
Head plates can be fabricated in steel from 6" diameter up to 48" diameter and can be supplied complete with all necessary openings for the rising main, dip tubes, cable glands etc.
We can prepare head works from the head plate on the borehole by adapting the existing pipe work or by replacing it with new.
Where necessary head works can include all gate valves, none return valves, water meters and sample taps.
Remedial works are performed in order to extend the life of the source, bring a source back into production, increase productivity, improve water quality or all of the above.
We have carried out extensive remedial works including the repair, re-lining and cleaning of boreholes.
Boreholes can be cleaned using either electrically driven or mechanically linked drilling rigs.
Our in-house air lifting equipment, including compressors, can provide air lift capacities up to 10 diameter giving flows up to 600m3/hour.
