Longcroft Engineering combines design expertise, technical excellence, specialist machinery and manufacturing knowhow to design, develop and manufacture springs and pressings to customer requirements. Longcroft can solve many customer problems by adjusting a current spring design or by a complete re-design. We can also 'reverse engineer' springs even from damaged and broken parts.

Longcroft's clients range from SMEs to multinationals and its expertise continues to attract more customers worldwide. Often manufacturing from exotic materials, the company can provide stock-holding and a call-off facility against JIT (Just In Time) orders.

Longcroft manufacture and design all types of flat springs from a wide range of materials.
Flat spring types include circlips, wave washers, Belleville washers, constant force springs, flat springs, clock and brush springs, leaf springs, power springs, constant force springs, electrical contacts and terminals, clips and brackets.
Produced from flat strip or sheet materials, our facilities include fibre laser cutter, a multi-slide and power presses, in combination with standard and bespoke tooling.
From retaining clips to safety pins, Longcroft design and manufacture a wide range of wire forms including complex three dimensional items using the latest CNC laser controlled machines available.
Using our CNC production methods, we can manufacture wire forms between 0.3mm and 6.00mm diameter for large orders and between 0.1mm and 12.00 for small and medium quantities.
Astute material selection can significantly improve the performance of springs, particularly those which are required to operate in harsh environments.
