JGC's history can be traced back over six generations of the same family and has its roots in blacksmithing.
The company founder, Jock Campbell, took the decision to move away from traditional blacksmith works and into the field of welding.
As a result, JGC Welding Company was founded in 1972.
JGC prospered in the following years and extended its range of services, evolving from being a welding service provider into the specialist and multi-disciplined engineering services provider that it is today.
