Boretech Engineering
Boretech Engineering was founded in 1984 by Andy Heitman, providing motorcycle engineering, cylinder reboring and crank rebuilding services. Between 1984 and 2013 the business was based at Golding Barn Raceway in Small Dole, West Sussex. During this period Boretech developed a first class reputation for the preparation, sales and servicing of motocross, enduro, trials and quad racing machinery, as well as running extremely successful teams for both Yamaha and Suzuki.

The business also provided specialist suspension and engine tuning services, utilising the Golding Barn Raceway test track facility to maximise machine performance and handling to match the individual requirements of a wide range of customers from novice riders through to Grand Prix professionals. Boretech's growing reputation saw its customer base expand into Road, Road Racing, Grass Track, Speedway, Classic Bike Racing and Go Karting machine preparation and repair.

In 2014, after nearly thirty successful years based at Golding Barn Raceway, Boretech moved the operation two miles north to new premises at Henfield Business Park.
Services
Our premises move has allowed us to build a smaller reception with an MOT viewing area instead of a large shop, however although not in view, we are still able to provide all the general off-road serviceable parts required to keep you on the track.
Tubes, Tyres, Brake Pads, Oils, Sprockets, Grips available immediately and of course any specific requests can normally be supplied within a 2-3 day period.
We also provide a small Sunday track shop at Golding Barn Raceway Check out their website for scheduled dates.
It had come from a dry state so was in pretty good condition when it landed.
All the fluids were drained before it was shipped so we added coolant, gearbox oil and some fresh fuel, made sure the airbox was clear and fired it up.
The crankcases were deep cleaned and shot blasted, the magneto and clutch covers were shotblasted and sent away to be cerekote painted in stock gunmetal Suzuki colours.
The frame was fully stripped of all the stock paint and inspected for cracks then powdercoated in Suzuki graphite grey.
A dedicated CNC workshop now allows us to provide advanced CNC milling, turning and cylindrical grinding services for one-off parts through to limited and extended production runs.
Boretech are also able to continue to provide advanced motorcycle engineering services, including crankshaft regrinding, cylinder head reworking, rebores and re-sleeving.
