All our design and manufacturing work takes place in our modern, fully equipped workshops in Doncaster, where we design and manufacture a wide range of products, including Portal Frame Buildings, Structural Steelwork, Balconies, Balustrading, Staircases, Fencing and Gates. Working with national companies and government bodies such as Keepmoat Homes, National Grid and the City of York Council, as well as global brands such as Amazon, we provide high-quality engineering solutions for clients nationwide.
Thorndell Engineering have supplied high quality alleygates, fencing and design solutions to Safer York Partnership and City of York Council over the last three years.

Over 40 years ago, Thorndell Engineering began life, established as a Sole Trader by Graham Atha.
Paul Thompson and Penny Barker, future Directors of Thorndell Engineering, began work at the company.
Expanding over the years, Thorndell Engineering became a Limited company at the start of the new millennium.
New Industrial Units 7 & 8 were built to provide better, cleaner and safer facilities for employees.
Our powder coating plant opened, and was put in operation in order to powder coat our own products achieving quicker lead times.
