Services
Aegina Technologies Ltd was founded in 2000 through the acquisition of the Xyratex EDS business unit and is based in a 12000 sq ft building.
The management team have subsequently developed a business model specialising in the aerospace, gas & oil and underwater manufacturing sectors now employing some 40 staff.
We have invested in new management systems PSL Datatrack and CNC programming software Visicam & EzCam in order the support the continued investment in CNC machine tools and associated equipment.

We have a fully integrated design and manufacturing network software system including solid modelling and 3D surface machining to facilitate both design and programming requirements.
We use both VISICAM and EZCAM software systems and can accept and work with IGES, DXF and STEP thus giving the company the opportunity to offer parts on a quick turnround from design through to delivery.
We continually update the software in order to maintain a competitive edge in the market place and ensure that the engineers have the required training / experience to support design and prototyping through to production.

Our CNC milling sections are located in a modern machine shop environment and have developed into a multi-axis facility incorporating both Vertical and Horizontal machining centres.
These range up to 2000mm x 800mm x 750mm in capacity and offer the very latest in machine technology.
The machines are programmed off-line by our experienced highly skilled engineers utilising a fully integrated CADCAM software package and can work from both hard copy drawings and CAD files.
We can machine one-off prototypes through to high volume production and have the facilities and ability to include 3 dimensional / surface machining to the highest standard.

Our CNC Turning section is located adjacent to our CNC milling sections and was originally established simply to support the milling with just one small CNC machine.
This has subsequently expanded to seven CNC machines ranging from 38mm dia bar feed through to 400mm dia with mill / turn capabilities and is now responsible for delivering 30% of the milling workload.
The section is manned by highly skilled programmers / setters and can accommodate one-off prototypes through to medium batch production.

Our assembly shop was originally established to support the ongoing need to provide the aerospace industry with a higher level component which can range from the installation of wire inserts through to full assembly and test.
It is located adjacent to the inspection department and is placed under their direct supervision in order to maintain the controls and quality requirements of the aircraft industry.
This facility can also be tailored to support other manufacturing sectors.
