E+M Tecnica is an MEP building services engineering consultancy practice specialising in demanding construction projects that require high-quality architectural standards of design. Located on the roof of the redeveloped former BBC Centre in White City this restaurant was created for Endo Kazutoshi the renown Sushi master.
The restaurant is located within the Grade 2 listed Helios feature on the roof of the building and the internal design was created by Tokyo based Kengo Kuma Architects.

The site has no gas supply and the Client is keen to utilize sustainable design and low energy technologies.
Therefore the MEP design proposals are for a ground source heat pump system with vertical boreholes supplemented by solar hot water panels and with natural ventilation.
