Services
Based in Cambridge since 2001, Our main aim is to establish a close working relationship with our customers, developing a high level of service suited to their individual needs.
For many of our customers we have become a one stop partner, to ensure this, we offer services throughout the product development process, from prototype to full scale manufacture and assembly.
To demonstrate our support and advice to the customer, we offer free consultancy for design-for-manufacturability (DFM) of components.
Here at Genesis we have built up and maintained our reputation for 3, 4 and 5axis CNC milling through continued investment in the latest machinery and highly skilled staff.
Whether your requirement is, one off to high volume, parts are produced to the highest quality and accuracy, all of which are programmed using the latest offline cam software which enables the manufacturing to be streamlined and competitive even on the most complex of parts.
Our large range of high-performance tooling means that we can machine parts in most materials ranging from exotic alloys, stainless, aluminium, brass, mild steel, ceramics and plastics and to the most demanding of tolerances.
With the ever-increasing pressures to get newly developed products into the market, we at Genesis appreciate the need for a rapid response on prototypes and always aim to do this in the most cost-effective way for our customers.
We offer consultation at the design stage if required which in turn can lead to a reduction in cost during the machining process and ultimately greater savings for subsequent production batches.
Our highly trained engineers use the latest Cam software to produce parts from almost any Cad file supplied, coupled with our extensive range of cutting tools we can fast track prototypes and small batches in the shortest of time frames.
With ever increasing pressures to maintain efficiency, reduce costs and increase profits, we acknowledge the importance of these factors.
By outsourcing your assembly requirements to Genesis, we can provide you with the complete package, machined parts, finishing, procurement of purchased parts right through to final testing and full inspection throughout.
Our purpose-built assembly room is complete with ESD equipment for handling sensitive components.
All mechanical and sub-assemblies are built by our highly skilled precision engineers thus maintaining the highest level of quality throughout.
At Genesis we recognise the importance of final product quality and using the correct measurement processes is an essential part of our business.
We have some of the latest inspection equipment including a Mitutoyo CMM.
Our inspection facility is fully temperature controlled providing us with an environment which allows the parts to stabilise before being measured accurately.
The CMM can also enable us to reverse engineer component parts, we measure them accurately and then produce both CAD/CAM files so that the parts are ready for production very quickly indeed.
