A.A. Brown Engineering Ltd is an established family owned and run production engineering company based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
Our main business activity is that of providing a high quality, reliable Sub-Contract machining service to our customer base.
We use both the latest CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machine tools together with conventional production techniques.
We have invested heavily in recent years, not only in the purchase of new machine tools (most recently a Doosan Lynx 300M Live Tooling Lathe in 2014 and a Doosan DNM500II Vertical Machining Centre in 2016), but also in the fabric of the building in the shape of a complete new roof for the whole factory.

A.A.Brown Engineering Ltd was established in 1951 and remains a family owned and run production engineering company to this day.
The company was founded by the Grandfather of the current owners.
Arthur Alfred Brown (pictured) started the business in a garage at his home in Market Harborough in 1951 but soon realised the need for a purpose built factory and so purchased a walled garden in Fairfield Road and built the first bay of the factory that we still occupy to this day.

We currently have nine CNC Turning Centres with a maximum chuck size of 250mm, Maximum Turning Diameter of 400mm, Maximum Turning Length of 600mm and spindle capacity of 76mm.
This includes our latest Doosan live tooling lathe.
We also have two Hydrafeed Multifeed short magazine bar feeds with a bar feed capacity of 50mm diameter.
We currently have five Vertical Machining Centres.
Our largest machine, a Doosan DNM510, has a capacity of 1020mm in the 'X' axis and has a table size of 1200mm x 500mm.
