We have created an alternative solution to traditional wired ITAs called PECture(TM).
The name is a combination of PEC (Printed Electronic Circuit) and fixture.
Using a back to back PEC arrangement inside the ITA we have been able to reduce the size of the ITA while making it significantly more reliable, rugged and flexible.
Inside the ITA, one PCB board connects directly to the PXI instrumentation via the standard MAC Panel DAKs available on the SCOUT platform, the other board has system specific connectors mounted on it that allow direct connection to the UUT.
