As part of the MacTaggart Scott Group, MacScott Bond Ltd. was formed in 1975 to build on the hard won reputation and expertise in fluid power applications for the marine defence sector, but to operate principally in other market sectors. Certified to ISO9001:2015, MacScott Bond Ltd has a full design, manufacture, installation, service and repair capability for pneumatic, oil or water hydraulic and cooling systems.

We are also a stockist, distributor and hirer of a range of pneumatic, motion control and hydraulic components and are able to advise our customers of the most appropriate solutions for their needs. Our unique position within the UK market place and our state of the art CAD 3D and 2D design, using SolidWorks, allows us to design and build fluid power, motion control systems to the highest quality.

Our workshop and their vast experience in building fluid power systems of all shapes and sizes are able to investigate and repair a wide array of equipment.

The Loanhead Division, certified to ISO9001: 2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007, has a full design, manufacture, installation, service and repair capability for pneumatic, oil or water hydraulic and cooling systems.
We sell hydraulic, pneumatic and associated components and are distributors for SPX, Globe, Atlas Copco, SPX Power Team, MP Filtri, ACE controls and more.
MacScott Bond distributes air motors, ranging from handheld compact motors to 32 horsepower options for Atlas Copco, Globe and SPX Flow.
These can be either radial piston air motors or rotary vane motors depending on the applications.
We hold a number of these motors in stock andare readily available.
Our stock includes spare parts and pneumatic components such as Filters, Regulators, Lubricators, Mounting Options, Gearboxes, Brakes, Control Valves, Pendant and Lever Controls, and Silencers.
MacScott Bond also has it's own workshop where we can repair old air motors.
MacScott Bond offers products manufactured by Atos, which is a leading manufacturer of components & systems in electro-hydraulics offering a consistent and comprehensive range of fully tested products.
Electro-hydraulics allows for superior control over hydraulics using electronics.
This means that the force and power of Hydraulics can be applied safely in any environment with fast, smooth and accurate movements.
Atos offers one of the most advanced lines of proportional valves which allows similar or better performances in comparison with servovalves whilst maintaining the typical benefits of proportional electrohydraulics: less sensitivity, coarser filtration requirements, intrinsic stability, easier servicing and lower cost.
