Established in 1976 as Hedley Hydraulics, the company started out as a system and component supplier to the UK steelwork industry and machine tool manufacturers.

The Lean processing (LX) and Mercury RTM press was by design a complex and novel configuration; it was intended to both meet the specific design needs of a well known manufacturer of super-cars whilst also retaining the flexibility to allow completion of unspecified technology development packages.

Our customer in the leisure industry required a hydraulic power unit assembly to operate a 'Wave Machine'.
Hedley were approached by the customer to refurbish an outdated power unit assembly, however our hydraulic engineers looked at the specification and established it was not cost effective to refurbish this HPU.
This project involved the detailed design and construction of the mooring buoy orientation drive system.
Hedley Hydraulics supplied the hydraulic gearbox assembly and special purpose fabricated mounting.

We have our own manufacturing facilities for system building and in-house test procedures but sometimes you just can't come to us, so our engineers can visit you.
We install all systems and test rigs at our end user locations, having control and ownership from 'system design' to 'switch on' this is an important consideration, you need to be sure you get what you asked for!
