Services
Berryrange Ltd was formed in 1990 primarily providing labour and building engineering services to main contractors.
Gradual expansion led to more general sub-contracting and then into main contracting for both building and civil engineering projects.
In 1999, after successfully supplying piling operatives and engineers to sub contract piling contractors, we felt it was the right time to take these men onto our own books thus enabling us to offer a complete design and installation package.
This element of the business has steadily grown, and has been further enhanced by the purchase of 4no WP150 Silent Pilers, the JZ100 Zero Piler, (only one in Europe) and a 17m leader rig and an excavator mounted movax and drill.

The introduction of Japanese piling presses into the UK in the early 1990s brought a much needed method of sheet pile installation that produced minimal vibration, very low noise levels and could cope with the variable soil strata encountered.
Combined with pre-augering the soil in advance and water jetting as the pile was installed, the UK construction industry was at last able to offer clients a means of sheet pile installation with minimal disturbance to the surrounding environ.
Berryrange Ltd owns and operates four WP150 silent and vibration free pilers and the JZ100 Zero Piler, (only one in Europe), complete with their own purpose built AOKI water jetting units.

A leader rig is a fast and efficient self-contained mobile machine for sheet pile installation and extraction.
It consists of a 360° tracked base unit to which is fitted a telescopic mast.
A vibrating hammer which drives the pile is fixed to a slide on the mast.
This slide enables to vibrator to move down the mast as the pile is driven.
The rig can pick up and pitch the pile itself before commencing driving.
Because the means of driving the pile is by vibration they are ideally suited to pile installation in granular soils.

Standard/Conventional piling methods, such as narrow areas, alleyways or up against adjacent properties, can be somewhat inoperable or not cost affective.
