We were faced with two main problems regarding the outfall and the surface water storage.
After discussions with the highway and drainage authorities, we proposed a cost-effective and politically straightforward solution that dealt with the outfall issue.
We also provided a sustainable urban drainage technique (the design of a detention basin) to handle the surface water, approved by the lead local flood authority.
