We have long recognised the need to ensure that our work is carried out in an environmentally sensitive manner, and as such have an established management system that meets the requirements of IS014001, an internationally recognised standard to which we were first registered in 2002.
Our Impacts - As part of our IS014001 system we have examined our activities and have developed an Aspects Register, which recognises that both our construction operations and head office activities have the potential to impact the environment.

The LCE main works team were engaged to carry out a replacement on an existing 25" cast iron scour main and 32" Raw Supply within a tunnel at Talybont.
Taunton Project Brief was driven by the Drinking Water Inspectorate to reduce the number of customer complaints of water quality within Taunton & surrounding areas.
The Treatment Works are located in the Cambrian Mountains.
It treats raw water taken from two lakes, 4km North East of the works within the mountains some 210m higher.
