This project was for the turnkey construction of a hydro-electric power plant near Treharris. Key requirements for the client were that the project team needed to demonstrate high technical standard and that all environmental and financial goals for the project. This project was completed for Rhondda Cynon Taff. The purpose of this scheme was to construct a 2km off road shared use cycleway/footway, continuing the cycle network from the 'Royal Glamorgan Hospital' at Ynysmaerdy to Coed Ely.

The route transformed. The works involves land drainage remedial and the construction of a surface water culvert crossing of cycleway network 1.8 metres wide to include insitu reinforced concrete culvert and cascade, with stone masonry cladding, reinforced concrete intake and outfall wing wall.
