Services
AW Precision Engineering was founded by Alan Wood in 1997 from a small unit, working on his own in the town of Poole, Dorset.
Due to an increase in orders and out-growing the original unit, in 1999 Alan moved to a new unit where he employed three additional machinists to increase the companies staff level to four people.
In 2001 he moved again to the present 2500 sq ft facility on Chalwyn Industrial Estate due to ever increasing sales orders and the need to expand the shop floor size to accommodate even more machines and up the staff levels to eight employees.

We have the capability to produce a wide range of components using both traditional skills and cutting edge technology.
Our equipment includes CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, and manual machines.
We also have Tricorn developed to meet the needs of other manufacturing companies, Cadcam & Rhino 3D modelling facilities as well as our own inspection department.
